The Ladder

How many times have you been in a place of darkness where people are talking negatively about you and it seems the whole environment is set up for you to fail. But somehow, someway, you not only survive -- you thrive! Now the people who were spending all of their time trying to tear you down are singing your praises. Make no mistake, all praise goes to God. He has changed your environment and those snares set up for you have become your "ladder of success". Or maybe you have been in financial ruins. There is no money to pay your bills, forget about any luxuries. But once you get through the tight times, you find that you have learned how to budget, how to save, and how to spend wisely...the snares have become the ladder.
 

So when life's challenges come our way, although we might be shaken and even stunned, we cannot remain immobilized by fear. We must remember that with God, we can walk through the trials and come out the other side even stronger than we were. We must learn to thank God for the stepping stones!
